[5 October: Friday] I was misinformed. Or maybe, I've just been so out of touch with the world outside Crackwell. In my mind, Midnight Inquisition and Death by Tampon would be playing at Big Sky Mind, closing event of Melusine's exhibition. I'd see JohnCorpse, I'd be able to catch up on old times with Jarek, my college bestfriend. I'd be with my 2 younger siblings, Yasmin and Khalil (Santanina isn't into these things, unfortunately) just like other nights when I wasn't too worried about my QPI and we lived just a few blocks away from Balete Drive.

Still, all's well that end's well. Papa bought us Sanz Rival (my favorite!) at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Khalil (Yasmin was busy with a project) and I convinced our andropause-plagued father that we can manage on our own, that we knew how public transportation works and that he wouldn't enjoy the bands as much as we would. Kawawa naman, nagtampo. Oh well. When your own fathers turn 60, watch out, it's like dealing with another teenager.

Maganda yung pelikula. Iyak ako ng iyak (uyyy, can relate!). Naalala ko yung frustration ko na sa Agham ako tinutulak pero ang puso ko ay nasa Sining. Naalala ko yung pagkakaroon ng makabayang kamalayan, kahit matindi ang panunupil ng administrasyon sa mga taga-Teatro. Yebah. Oh well, next time na ang movie review.
